6. Do you conduct conflict checks?

Yes, our standard procedure is to perform conflict checks before taking on any assignments.

7. Is the work product of MRG covered by the attorney-client privilege and the attorney work product doctrine?

Yes, this is part of our confidentiality agreement we sign with each attorney we work with.  Law states the attorney client privilege is not waived when confidential information is passed by an attorney to members of his or her support staff, including law clerks, paralegals, and secretaries for purposes of rendering legal counsel.
        
8. How long does it take to get a project completed?

We usually complete larger projects on a 7-10 day turnaround, and smaller ones in 2-5 all depending on the size and scope.  However, we can accommodate some projects in a shorter timeframe if need be.  We offer a 24-hour turn around time for your urgent time-sensitive work. 
**Expedited orders are subject to increased rates.

9. In what formats do you deliver completed project?

Our standard procedure is to deliver our completed work products in a binder and provide an electronic copy in Microsoft Word format. However, if you want you work delivered in another electronic format such as PDF, RTF, or a TIFF document, we will be more than happy to accommodate your request. 

10. Will you provide copies of the citations and documentation of your findings?
Yes, with all research assignments we will provide you with bibliography of all cited works and copies of our research that we analyzed.

11. What types of online legal tools do your researchers have access to?
We access online subscription-based research tools and catalog a wide range of free online resources vital to collect information.

12. Are clients charged separately for use of premier online tools or databases?
No. We charge a flat rate and we never bill you separately for the use of any databases or other subscription based resources.

13. How do you charge for your services?
Our rates reflect a turnkey solution for each research project.  Rates are subject to the type of work, density of content, and the turnaround time that is allotted to complete the project.  We will discuss our fees with you at the outset of any project, and will give you an estimate as to the time involved.

14. What are MRG’s billing procedures?
Our standard billing procedure for legal work and certain business work is payment upon receipt of the final product.  There are exceptions to this procedure though depending upon which type of service you choose.  Some projects require 50% up front and the remaining balance after delivery of the work product.  We are willing to further discuss our billing procedures with you. 

15. How are projects submitted to MRG?
Projects may be submitted via our website, email, phone, or facsimile.  Please review our research request template online to facilitate our initial communication.    

16. What is your service guarantee?
If you are not 100% satisfied with the product you receive, we will supplement the work to your satisfaction.

17. Does MRG practice law? 

No.  We work for and with attorneys.
